BOWEN’S DISEASE

An uncommon chronic localised skin disease, presenting as a solitary chronic fixed irregular plaque mimicking eczema or psoriasis. It is a fairly benign form of CARCINOMA in situ in the EPIDERMIS but can occasionally become invasive. It is curable by CRYOTHERAPY or surgical excision.
